Give us your Top 10 in the comments section, bitch at me about my tastes and enjoy your weekend.

Comments:
Oddly, strangely, your tastes are similar to mine.

I've always loved "The Professional", but I have heard many times that if I haven't seen "Léon", then I haven't really gotten the full story.

!?!?!?!?!?!

You want to be a POP CULTURE blog but haven't seen ANY of the Godfathers!?!?!?!?!

When did you send in your admission paperwork to Duke?

Don't feel bad, Ryan, I didn't actually sit down and watch "The Godfather" until last month. I don't know, it was just one of those things that slipped through the cracks. Good movie, though. :)

Also, I love "The Professional."

Also also, I would add "Heathers" to this list. Seriously, that movie is amazing. Or, more appropriately, that movie is very.

I've only seen 9 of these movies and don't feel bad, I haven't seen the Godfather movies yet either.

It's not right for me to throw a Dukie comment your way without giving you my Top 10 to rip...

1. American Beauty
2. Godfather
3. Goodfellas
4. Godfather II
5. The Silence of the Lambs
6. Fight Club
7. Se7en
8. The Wizard of Oz
9. Groundhog Day
10. Dog Day Afternoon

Let it be known, if Goodfellas didn't your Top 30, you either:

1) Haven't seen it (it should be on the same list with Godfather)
2) Saw it and thought it was worse than those 30 movies, for which I say, you're insane.

Lastly, and most important, Memento is one of the most overrated movies of our generation. Listen, I get it; it was really good. But it wasn't the life altering experience everyone seems to make it out to be.

I hate to sound so negative. Seriously, keep up the good work, Ryan. Lost is back next week!!!

...

And I haven't seen Schindler's List, Casablanca, Citizen Cane, Apocolypse Now, Fargo, and many others. I should be 7th man on the Blue Devils.

To contribute:

1. Schindler's List
2. Frida
3. Fargo
4. Full Metal Jacket
5. Glory
6. Whale Rider
7. Heathers
8. Mulholland Drive
9. Ponette
10. The Professional

Do I think these are the best movies of all time? No. Are they my favorite movies? Yep.

And that's the point, Emily. I love that Heathers is up there. I'd love to have the score to that one...

For you to put "American Beauty" (booty) higher than "The Princess Bride" makes me hurty, and seriously question the validity of this marital union.

Moe Greene- Goodfellas made me sad when Spider got shot. I still get sad about that sometimes.

Since I'm already spamming, how can you put a movie at #4 that you haven't seen? Because the last time I checked, you'd never seen Léon.

I would like to state that I have my 10 songs for my mix finalized and I think the order in the way I want. I worked on the cover art too.

It's not the usual work of high artistry I usually have (sic) but I'm sure no one else has my Top 10 theme.

CDP's got some 'splainin to do.

I thought I gave the CDP a copy of Léon.

That Last post was me and not Sherry. I didn't notice she was logged in.

Here is my top 10:

1. The Empire Strikes back
2. Léon.
3. Star Wars
4. The God Father
5. Fargo
6. Raiders of the Lost Ark
7. Fight Club
8. The Big Labowski
9. Groundhog Day
10. Stand By Me

"The Big Lebowski" wow, what a great movie. I split a gut every time I watch it.

"Nilhists! Fuuuuucck me. Say what you want about the tenets of National Socialism, Dude, at least it's an ethos!"

wow, I can't believe such epic films as pcu, or clerks, mallrats, chasing amy, etc.. didn't make these lists...

Oh well maybe he watched it without me then. He tends to do that.

As much as I love Star Wars, my all time favorite movie would have to be Forrest Gump. I show it to at least one class each year. And this year I showed The Princess Bride for my senior comp. I drive the students crazy because I say all the lines along with the characters.
