3. Sundowner - Neon Fiction

5. Two Cow Garage - The Death of the Self Preservation Society
6. I Can Lick Any Sonofabitch In The House - Mayberry
7. Murder by Death - Bitter Drink, Bitter Moon
8. Bombino - Nomad
9. Tyranny is Tyranny - Let It Come From Whom It May
10. Dropkick Murphys - Signed and Sealed in Blood
11. Alkaline Trio - My Shame Is True
12. Chris Thile - Bach: Sonatas & Partitas, Vol. 1
13. CONTROL - s/t
14. Josh Ritter - The Beast In Its Tracks
15. Land of Vandals - Sing Us Offshore

Nice list. I definitely need to check out the new Two Cow Garage, AK3 and Josh Ritter.

The new TCG didn't resonate with me as much as their previous albums but after a few spins I really began to appreciate it a lot more. Same with the new Murder by Death.

The Josh Ritter album is interesting because he wrote it after going through a divorce and I have to admit I thought it would be a lot more angry, though after awhile I really started to appreciate how low-key it comes off. I also missed seeing him in Madison earlier this year even though I bought tickets, as it fell on the same night as a Lucero show at the Majestic. I gave my tickets to a friend and he said the concert was absolutely wonderful, which didn't make me feel any better about missing it.

Last thing - I just confirmed that I'll be heading down to Chicago on NYE for the Lawrence Arms show with Direct Hit, Masked Intruder, and the Downtown Struts. It more than makes up for the fact I'll miss the WI Punk Fest at the Majestic on the 10th.

Ooh, that's going to be a good show. One of the highlights of my short career as a punk musician was playing a show with the Lawrence Arms about 12 years ago.
