My Pet Goat.

"I've been hanging out with the wrong crowd."

"It's not a matter of whether the war is not real, or if it is. Victory is not possible. The war is not meant to be won, it is meant to be continuous. Hierarchical society is only possible on the basis of poverty and ignorance. This new version is the past and no different past can ever have existed. In principle the war effort is always planned to keep society on the brink of starvation. The war is waged by the grueling group against its own subjects and its object is not the victory over either Eurasia or East Asia, but to keep the very structure of society intact."

And with that, I promise to never talk about Fahrenheit 9/11 again.

Tell me what you think in the comments section. We'll talk about it together, real friendly like.

And I promise not to post any more questionable comments about George Bush dieing...is that how you spell that? Or is it dying? I don't know!
It's dying, and you need to be careful. Think of all the nice things that the FBI will take from us when they show up at our door tonight. All of our nice literature and all of my classic sci-fi movies will cease to exist.

Thank you, Patriot Act! I feel much safer now.
I've been having some troubles with the comments. It's being worked on.
They may LOOK like Mystery Science Theatre 3000 movies, but they are actually anti-American propaganda cleverly desguised as bad sci-fi movies!

(covers mouth with hands)

I've said too much.
We don't have anything worth taking! And no one wants your mystery science theatre movies, so I think they're safe...
Did you guys hear that Edwards is going to be Kerry's running mate!!!!??? I'm so excited because I was going to vote for Edwards for president anyway! (or I was at least thinking about it)
Check baby, check baby, 1-2-3-4
Check baby, check baby, 1-2-3
Check baby, check baby, 1-2
Check baby, check baby, 1

It's called the rump shaker. And I'm testing the comments.
Yeah Sherry, I was pretty glad that Kerry chose Edwards. He really had no choice, he was the best possible candidate for the job. It gives me a little more confidence in the campaign.

How's the wisdoms?

Again, sorry to be a big ween about the comments, but they are taking days to post, and it's just driving me crazy. I'm keeping an eye on it.

All I wanna do is zooma-zoom-zoom-zoom and a boom-boom.
Like I was telling Ryan last night... I think it's pretty clear that it's going to become the John Edwards campaign now and John Kerry will look more like the running mate...:)
Suits me fine. I always wanted to vote for JFK, and this is the closest I'll get.
Government is merely an outlet for people to vent their frustrations over the countries issues. It is never going to change, nor is any one specific individual going to make it all better. I have seen a lot of presidents come and go, and there isn't one of them I would need to experience again; and you know something, there will never be. If you think a changing of party will help, think again. It will be the same old s***. If it happens, I will look forward to anyone coming back on this site after four years and convincing me that we are much better off than we were four years earlier. I guarantee, there will be other issues everyone will be complaining about. I think we have more important things to worry about in life, like family, being able to get to work in the morning without some cell phone junkie running me off the road, being able to buy a bag of potato chips that is more than half full, just once watching my neighbor spank his kids ass for misbehaving rather than smiling and asking "isnt he/she cute"? (cute...no, annoying...yes), and to stop seeing department stores being built with thirty check out counters and hiring only three check out clerks. These are the things we need to worry about. And if if somebody puts a gun to my head, then ok, I vote for Geroge Carlin.

P.S. Not really posting anonymously, just did not want to sign in while using my employer's computer. Who knows what "communistic" parasite might be infesting my chips.
Tinman, I agree with everything you said. George Carlin himself said: "This crap we shuffle around every 4 years doesn't mean a thing. This country was bought and sold and paid for a long time ago." It's very true, and I shouldn't say that I'm in support of Kerry or Nader or anyone (although I will vote for one of them nonetheless, and it sure as hell isn't Nader). To think anyone's going to pave the hole we're currently in is foolish. But what I DO know is that I refuse to give the current guy a second chance.

I'm not fighting for the sake of our country, because we're kind of screwed no matter what. This is personal. I'm doing what I can to change the heads of office because in a country full of bad Presidents, I sincerely think he's one of the worst ever. Certainly the worst in MY short lifetime, and historically right up there as well. When the next Civil War comes, I want to know I'm on the side I agree with the most. It's the least I can do.

(Along with doing my best to avoid mega-shopping centers, NEVER talking on the phone while driving, and shooting icy glares to the whining child at the supermarket being completely ignored by his Mother.)

Thank you for posting, it was insightful as always. I hope others follow your lead.
I wouldn't vote for Carlin because anyone who thinks a ponytail like that is cool certainly has not won my respect. HA!

We're much worse off than we were 4 years ago. Hopefully in 4 years we'll be able to look back and feel safer and more comfortable in our endeavors than we did at this point. I don't believe for a second that that is too much to ask.
